Personal Reference Confirmation:

Personal Reference Checks are performed by PROTEC to verify basic character and stability of a candidate with individuals that have known the candidate for a length of time. Our trained staff confirms type of relationship and length of time they have known the applicant. Each reference is asked, based on their personal knowledge, to indicate their perception of such things as the candidate’s communication skills, problem-solving skills, self-control, punctuality and ethnic/racial sensitivity. They also are asked to comment on any knowledge of substance abuse, verbal/physical acts of anger or convictions involving violence, theft, or drug-related offenses.
